Our Process

Renovating a space or building new can be a stressful
process, even more so if it is the most used
area in your home. Follow these steps in order to make the best
use of your time and ensure a memorable experience.

Step 2

Concept Design
Presentation

In this meeting, we present you with a 3D concept design and quotation for your kitchen. We also show you door styles, stain and paint finishes, as well as countertops and backsplashes best suited for your space and design. If you haven’t already, ask for a showroom tour to see for yourself what sets us apart from the competition. This meeting takes approximately 1-2 hours.

Step 4

Manufacturing

Once you have approved the detailed drawings, your cabinetry is put into production. In-house production takes place right here in Ottawa, and all cabinets are ¾” construction, built only with dowel, glue, and screws versus X. We use only quality hinges and slides from Blum, as well as a European adjustable leg system for (x). This process takes approximately 6 weeks.

Once you have approved the detailed drawings, your cabinetry is put into production. This process takes approximately 6 weeks. Our fabricating takes place right here in Ottawa allowing us full control over production schedule. All cabinets are built to last a lifetime with heavy ¾” construction, and assembled using dowels, glue and screws versus most manufacturers using 5/8 and staples. We use only quality hinges and drawer slides from Austrian made ‘Blum’, as well as a Euro adjustable leg system to provide greater adjustability on site. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship of every project we build.

Step 1

Initial Meeting

Begin your process by visiting our showroom to discuss your ideas, habits, and needs. Help us better understand your vision by bringing in rough measurements, plans if working with an architect, and magazine clippings of what you like. We encourage you to visit different kitchen showrooms, as our focus is not to “sell” you a new kitchen. Instead, we believe the most important part of your experience is your education, and ensuring you are comfortable with our entire process, from design, to materials, ordering, and installation.  This initial meeting takes approximately 1 hour.

Step 3

Onsite Visit &
Detailed Drawings

After an on-site measure, very detailed CAD drawings are prepared. These drawings include: plan and elevations (all key measurements for the builder/renovator); precise location of appliances; and specs, finishes, function, and accessories for all cabinets.

If needed, our designers will meet with your contractor, electrician, or plumber to discuss all important details.

Step 5

Installation &
Final Inspection

During this final stage, installers will visit the site prior to the installation date in order to avoid any unforeseen delays. Once installation is complete, we will conduct an on-site inspection to ensure all is to your full satisfaction and quality assurance.
